Students and faculty celebrated their Ross School pride January 13–17. Spirit Week began with Pajama Day, followed by Class Color and Mix and Match Days. Thursday saw Upper School students dressed for Decades Day; Lower School classes wore crazy hats.
The week wrapped up with School Color Day and spirit rallies at the LS Field House and the Center for Well-Being, featuring performances by the Ross School cheerleading squad. Athletes were announced to rowdy whoops and songs, while students waved class banners.
The rally at the Lower School also had students competing in dribble relay races led by basketball team captains. The fun ended with a spirited “Go Bananas” cheer. At the Upper School, grades 9–12 engaged in class athletic competitions and shouted fight songs to express their support for their school and the Cosmos.
Overall, the week was an opportunity for the students to express their pride in a personal way and served as a welcome reminder of the diverse personality, talent, culture, and energy that make up Ross School spirit.
